Holy Family’s Advent outreach project benefitting Meals On Wheels was a booming success this year.
Members of the Outreach Committee shopped for personal care products, church members donated items, and during the coffee hour this past Sunday, parishioners decorated and put together 50 bags of items such as lotion, shampoo, deodorant, tissues, and candy.
Everyone participating seemed to have a lot of fun putting together the “Christmas bags” as there was much laughter and chatter in the room. These gift bags were gratefully received by Meals On Wheels.
This project exemplifies Holy Family’s efforts to be Christ’s presence in our community.
