Our Stories

“We have a story to tell, a story filled with hope and love and God’s grace and mercy. We’ve got a story of God in our lives, a story of ways that Jesus has already been working in our lives sometimes without our even knowing."

---Presiding Bishop Michael Curry

Evangelicalism through storytelling.

What does this mean exactly? And how can we do it. Simple, we need to share our stories.

The Diocese of WNC has a rich history rooted in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We want to uncover what makes the parishes in our diocese truly unique, from their stories to their histories to their Sunday-afternoon yoga classes. As Bishop José visits parishes around our diocese, we are working to listen to the members of the communities, for it is within them that stories are made, and the future of our faith continues.

Have something cool about your parish you want to share? Contact our Communications Officer.
