Young Adult Formation

We invite young adults to join us as we live out our calling to the Jesus Movement of the Episcopal Church.  The Jesus Movement calls us to literally act as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. We express this call through our commitment to global mission, social engagement, and local action in our young adult communities.

Connect with Local Communities

Asheville Young Adult Community

Young adult ministry in the Asheville area strives to build community through service to others in our local community. We partner with ministries such as Kairos West and 12 Baskets to connect and serve with those in need.  We also meet for lunch once a month to build community with each other. If you are interested in connecting with this community, please reach out to Eden Lewis

Boone Young Adult Community

3rd Place Boone is an open and affirming community, practicing the way of Jesus by offering radical welcome and support for seekers of spirituality, creativity, and justice.  Community partners meet regularly at 3rd Place and welcome all in the community. More information about 3rd place can be found here.

Blue Ridge Service Corps

Starting in the fall of 2019, the Diocese will be launching an Episcopal Service Corp program. This program invites young adults to complete a year of service by walking their path and seeing where God is at work in their lives. The young adults will be nurtured through the work they do at local non-profits, living in intentional community, and deepening their spiritual awareness through connection with local Episcopal churches.  For more information about this community please contact Megan Cox or visit Blue Ridge Service Corp

If you would like for us to contact you, please fill out our interest form and we will be in touch.
