The holiday season and long nights of winter can amplify feelings of grief and loss. This year has been extremely difficult for all of us as we have faced various losses surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic: loss of time, loss of loved ones, loss of physical touch, loss of physical abilities and the loss of togetherness.
The Longest Night (for us in the Northern Hemisphere, also referred to as the winter solstice) will be observed through The Cathedral of All Souls' offering of a 24-hour Zoom from 12 noon on Dec 21st through 12 noon on Dec 22nd. This will be an open time of prayer, conversation and silence. Feel free to drop in anytime and pass this offering on to others who might be suffering during this season of joy. Email Kim Miller at kim.miller@allsoulscathedral.org for the Zoom link.
