The 100th annual convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina ended with the sound of the gavel and cries of exultation on the afternoon of Nov. 12. The celebration of the centennial anniversary continued Sunday at Revival with Presiding Bishop Curry.
It was a special convention not merely in being the centennial, but with a very special guest, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, and Bishop of Cuba Griselda Delgado del Carpio, as well as worship led by Camp Henry youth, this convention is one not soon to be forgotten. It was especially refreshing to be back in person with live music, a big choir, and many smiles.
