About The Event
This workshop for congregations and other diocesan organizations includes interactive exercises, videos, and small group discussions. Participants explore how institutional and systemic racism impede our ability to create an inclusive community. Through this workshop facilitators from the Commission to Dismantle Racism hope to raise awareness that dismantling racism is a spiritual discipline grounded in our Baptismal Covenant.
Friday night session is on Zoom from 6-8:30 p.m. Registrants will be sent the link.
Saturday session is on site at St. Luke's, Boone from 9:30 a.m. –3:30p.m.
The Rev. Anna Shine will lead the workshop.
Participants must attend both Friday and Saturday to receive credit.
