Foothills Area
Sitting on the eastern boundary of the Diocese, the rolling foothills transition the Appalachians to the Piedmont. Marked by rivers, expansive farms and thriving communities, the Foothills Deanery is made up of eight parishes spread though five counties. Cities in the area include Hickory, Morganton, Lenoir and Marion.
