About The Event
In January 2019, Bishop José will host our second diocesan Vestry Academy. Vestry Academy is a weekend retreat open to the vestry leadership of small congregations in the Diocese of Western North Carolina. The focus of the conference will be threefold:
† Vestry role, responsibility and leadership development
† Ministry collaboration among small church leaders
† Spiritual formation for vestry leadership
The weekend will also provide time for individual vestries to gather by themselves for planning and visioning in the new year. We have limited spaces up to 6 congregations.
