About The Event
Who it's for: 6th-8th graders and youth leaders
Middle school is an exciting, and sometimes challenging, season of life. This retreat gives students a chance to unplug, make new friends, grow in their faith, and experience a weekend full of games, worship, small groups, and adventure in God’s beautiful creation. Registration is open on campwise and closes on October 15th.
Our theme is:
I’m Alive. So Are You. What Are We Going to Do About It?
We’ll spend the weekend exploring our Baptismal Covenant, biblical stories of justice and compassion, and what it means to put our faith into action. We’ll also have a hands-on service project so our students can practice what we’re learning together.
And because we’ll be together the weekend before Halloween, we’re adding a little fun! Saturday night will be our Saints & Social Justice Dance, where students can dress up as a saint, social justice advocate, or someone…
