Human Hurt & Hope Grants

Human Hurt and Hope Grants are intended to support new initiatives and innovative ministries that involve Episcopalians directly in hands-on ministries that respond to human needs.

Funded from contributions throughout the Diocese of Western North Carolina in conjunction with the Centennial Witness Program, the Human Hurt & Hope Fund is a hallmark of this vision.  The Human Hurt & Hope Fund has empowered Episcopalians to address human need and suffering through hands-on ministries in our own communities. Over the years the Human Hurt & Hope Fund has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants within the Diocese of WNC that address issues of justice, poverty and marginalization, helping those at risk as we take seriously our baptismal vow of serving Christ in all persons.

Grant Deadline: April 15
