About The Event
Join us on May 2nd, at St. James in Hendersonville, from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm as we spend time learning essential frameworks, resources and tools to cultivate health, growth, spiritual vitality and purpose in mission and ministry. We will also spend time workshopping and discerning small steps you can take back to your church. Church clergy and lay leadership are strongly encouraged to bring a team of at least three people per parish so that they have time together to identify one or two ideas to bring back to their community.
Our speaker will be the Rev. Catherine Thompson from the Diocese of Maryland. Rev. Catherine has served as the Priest-in-Charge of All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick, Maryland since April of 2023. She finds joy in learning and discovering new things, particularly in the area of congregational development, and is grateful for the many mentors who were willing to share…
