Welcome to the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina. We are comprised of over 15,000 members worshiping in 65 year-round congregations; four summer chapels; two conference centers - Lake Logan Episcopal Center and Valle Crucis; Deerfield Retirement Community; and Christ School. In addition, we are blessed with the presence of Kanuga Conference Center, serving many local, regional and national bodies within the Episcopal Church. Our cathedral, the Cathedral of All Souls, is located in Asheville at Biltmore Village. The Bishop's office is located in the new Bishop Henry Center in Asheville at 900 CentrePark Drive, just off I-240, Exit 6.

The diocesan boundaries are the 28 counties in the westernmost portion of the state. It's a vibrant and exciting place to live and work and experience the glory of God's creation.

Driving Directions
 

From Interstate 40 (east or west), exit onto the 240 Loop at Exit #46B, heading toward downtown Asheville. Drive exactly three miles. Exit left off 240 at Exit # 6 (Tunnel Road/Chunns Cove Road). Turn right at the stop sign onto Chunns Cove Road. Go under the highway bridge (about 50 yards) and take the first right onto Piney Mountain Drive. Turn left at the first street - CentrePark Drive - into CentrePark office complex. At the stop sign, turn right. The Bishop Henry - clearly marked with sign- is located in the right half of the second building.


 From Downtown Asheville
Take the 240 Loop headed east and exit at Exit # 6 (Tunnel Road/Chunns Cove Road). At the first stoplight, turn right onto Tunnel Road.
